ENTER YOUR PROJECT

Before entering, think about what makes your work unique or innovative. Why did it work well? How did your company or the project team benefit from the model?

To help you submit your Tekla Structures files, we’ve created instructions for you to follow.
The deadline for entries is Monday 31st July, 2023

THE SCHEDULE

You have until Monday 31st July, 2023 to submit your project.  All competing projects will be published on our website in August and there will be a public voting period to decide the people’s favourite.

The category winners will be announced at the beginning of September and the winner’s celebratory activity will be held on 16th October.

The prizes

Winners of the ANZ Tekla Awards 2023 will win:

  • Category winners

    The winners of each category will be invited to join us for a celebratory activity where you will enjoy networking with other award winners and spending time with our technical teams, working on team building activities, a surprise competition and, of course, delicious food. Each winner will also receive an engraved trophy and a framed certificate.

  • Global Awards, Best BIM project

    The Global Awards are biannual and will be held in 2024. The best project selected by the jury across all categories will receive a trip for two to Trimble Dimensions in Las Vegas USA, including flights, hotel accommodation and event tickets.

Tekla BIM Awards – The judging criteria

Projects are evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Collaboration

    Collaboration between multiple participants and use of IFC and open BIM.

  • Innovative use of Tekla software

    Innovation through solving challenges with Tekla Structures or Tekla Structural Designer, perhaps a multi-material aspect or complexity of geometry.

  • Have you used our Tekla Warehouse content?

    Perhaps you have written your own API to solve problems you were faced with.

  • Environmental benefits

    Energy savings, reduced waste, sustainability factors.

  • Cool factor

    Creativity, uniqueness and impressiveness of the project execution.
